CO2 first, additional signals when useful

The Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) describes CO2 as a practical, approximate indicator of occupancy-related air load and how well an occupied room is ventilated.

SECO workplace guidance uses 1,000 ppm as an orientation value for good indoor air quality and recommends intensive ventilation no later than 2,000 ppm.

Where PIR is included, it indicates room activity; it is not a people counter. The service supports operational decisions and does not make health, safety, or performance guarantees.
